Goldsack, Chaplin, Moloney, Draft midfielders, Cloke, Delist: Graham, Derickx, Trade for a ruckman. Done!

Give this man a job. Just add Blease, Howe and Betts and the job's done. ;D

What ever happened to Brett Meredith? he has fallen right off the radar at the swans

Just on the Swans, what ever happened to Jed Lamb? Was pick 21 in '10 & hasn't played a game yet but the wraps on him were huge.

Sydneys team is near impossible to break into this year.

Heaven help one time PRE Fav Mitch Morton hasnt even been able to get a run.

Ricky Petterd. Dropped again. Personally I think he is worth looking at. Could plug that hole in our half forward.

Jed Lamb would be a good get. He'd be out of contract. Wellingham's signed btw.

The problem with trading for an under performing 1st round draft pick is you end up over paying based on where he was drafted. Lamb might get traded for a pick 25 but the reality is he has been pretty average (and soft at the ball) and then got injured and as a result has shown nothing to suggest you would want to give away anything more than a pick 40 or 50.

That being said, he is still young and is back from injury now so it will be interesting to see if he starts getting plenty of the ball in that crap NEAFL.

How's Hawthorns cap looking? Anyone likely to be squeezed out? They have some cheeky forward types who have dropped off a little this year. Savage? Plopolo? Breust would be nice.

Don't think any of them will get squeezed out, all would be on very low money.

Savage Pick 75 2008
Suckling Pick 70 2009 Rookie Upgrade Pick 81 2008
Breust Pick 77 2011 Rookie Upgrade Pick 47 2008
Puopolo Pick 66 2010 mature from Norwood

Some interesting VFL boys to look at.

John Baird, now in his mid to late 20s, could be a good tall medium mature defender.

Sam Dwyer, now 25/26yo is a hard working midfielder.

Adam Marcon, a strong small in his mid-20s might be good extractor.

Kyle Martin, now talented 21/22yo small, hopefully he's pulled his head out from up his own bum.

Tom Couch, again, a small 20yo extractor missed being drafted but now is dominating VFL.

Willie Wheeler, a Coburg favourite.

david fahey from coburg would be worth a look, and khan haretuku from frankston.

what about that bloke north got from west coast a few years back? can't break into their side, and is a pretty good goal kicker, name escapes me tho

After seeing Sam Gibson, ex Box Hill, get 41 touches in his 5th or 6th game, I am stronger then ever on taking midfielders with form at VFL level.

Marcon has been in the best 7 of 13 weeks and wins his own footy. Only 22 or 23, I would at the very least be putting him on the rookie list.
