May be just spending a few hours with his family away from the boys! :)

Nice.

People forget the huge transition in his life inthe past 2-3 years. I still think he will be a great player when he matures (even more) over the next 2-3 years.

Yep, I was sitting a few down from him in the same row. I was wondering the same thing. He does come across as a very polite fellow and doesn't appear to have the massive ego that some of the other boys exude (I am not sure if that is a good thing on the footy field, but it is certainly nice for a fellow human being ;D ). He comes across as quite mature for his young age.

I also saw, in addition to the Burger boys, Simmo, Sugar and Newman (on crutches) tucking into the Hot Dogs and Hartigan sitting with Dan C. and Gus during the ressies match.

A bit odd I guess but he was still there at least supporting the boys.

Probably likes his family.

Seen him at Port melbourne last few weeks sitting with family, mullins, peterson and jake king. Seems like a well grounded type of character.

Exactly. The players spend so much time together anyway.
Bling's at a different stage in his life to most of the other youngsters.

Good on him for going to the game.

I saw where the rest of the boys were sitting - crowded & directly in the sun.

Remembering back to when I was a parent with young kids, I would have found a nice shady spot with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Barry Stoneham was standing on the terrace just in front of me and he was necking beers. Still looks pretty fit, the big pussy.

PSD potential

It wasnt just Bling by himself. I went up with Gary Ablett, and he didnt sit with any of the Geelong boys. Also Ottens was by himself for a while.

Far out do you guys get the binculars out and just look at what players in the crowd are doing?
;D

Maybe Tambling isnt mates with some of the players? I remember when I played footy and at my local club in particular, I hated some of the guys I played with. Who knows? Who really cares? Good on Tambo for going anyway.

No binoculars needed. It wasnt a very big crowd and it's easy to see the AFL guys. No big deal, they're just there.

Good to see him mature enough to put family first. He spends enough time during the season with his mates.

Well done Bling.

A big future beckons.
