Losing the Swooper - if indeed we did lose him and he didnt walk cos of Sheedys - has been the worse thing that happened to the Tigers since the mass walkout at the end of the 82 Grannie.

Swooper would have done helluva more than Wallsy and Giesch combined. he wouldn't have been getting the crap through the mail - and I mean the crap. he always commanded respect. as with the dees, players would go out and there even if these lost, they were bloody sore afterwards.

Swooper shouldve been brought out of retirement than letting Spud squat around at tigerland

Just to set the record straight about swooper Northey mate...cause i was privvy to the inside mail at the time.....
Northey wanted to stay at the Tigers....but his missus at the time was pushing him to push the Tigers for a 2 year contract at the time(the flamin interferin *smile*)...Northey was loathe to leave the Tigers ,believe you me...he bled the yellow and black.......my biggest "what if"with the Tigers was that could swooper have gone all the way to a tiger flag if he had ve hung around for an extra couple of seasons.... :-\

Absolutely bloody pathetic if there were players dropping their heads.

Actually, the truth is, the heads were dropped when they found out who the replacements were...............hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
