BLUE SUNDAY v PROSTATE CANCER

Round 3 Richmond v Collingwood
Sunday April 6, MCG.

What is Blue Sunday?
Blue Sunday is the day we fight prostate cancer.
It’s a public event to raise awareness of this life threatening disease and what blokes can do to avoid it, for good.

Here’s what you need to do:

* Get to the MCG early, at least 30min before the bounce.
* When you arrive you’ll be given a Blue Sunday poncho.
* All you need to do is wear it with pride prior to the start of the game.
* Together we’ll turn the MCG into a sea of blue.

why the heck are we wearing blue, can you think of a colour Woods and Tigers fans are more unwilling to wear at the football :(

all I can say is I hope its a nice mid or light blue, because there is no way I am looking like a blue bagger >:(

Seriously though, good cause and we should all support if/where possible.

Yeah I was puzzled about the colour blue thing as well.

Anyone heard of the term 'blue balls'? Maybe that's why they chose blue.

Seems like there's a theme or promo every week. Not having a go at blue day - a fine cause. I just wonder if people are becoming a bit blase about these things now.

i wouldnt be getting 'blase' about this week's theme!

Agree. Ripper cause & should be well supported. Perhaps they could get John Hopoate as a spokesman? :hihi (Only joking!!!!!)

Great cause but I dunno about wearing a cheap crappy blue plastic poncho at a Rich Vs Pies game??
Could feel like a bit of a Blues / Judd lover I reckon....

Personally, rather than wear the cheap crappy blue plastic poncho thingy, I'd rather wear the RFC gear and support the club and help the vibe of the match between great rivals and make a $5 - $10 donation to the cause on the day myself, but i do agree it is a great cause, and good to see one for the boys too.

I was reading about the Blue Sunday, and what was organized...I had visions of guys in white coats inside the gates with rubber gloves and K Y gell.

Seriously, I've had the test, cancer is in the family, can't be too carefull.

With all those collingwood @$$h0(e$ around, what better time to check the prostate.
