Clearly last night was a frustrating performance from us but the body language of some of our senior players was alarming to say the least.

Joel Bowden in particular let himself down badly last night.

He wasnt alone though - Kane Johnson, Darren Gaspar, Andrew Raines and Kelvin Moore all looked as if they given up in the second half. Others too.

The only way we will bounce back from this is if Terry gets the senior players heads right.

If not - we are in serious trouble.

Also, rumours of player unrest (true or not) will become more prevalent.

While it is frustrating for Richo, the way he acted last night was atrocious. He just full on gave up once Collingwood hit the lead. A player would be 5 meters away from him and he would just stand there, not even offer a chase.

Richo is Richo but I think the bigger issue was the complete suurender and acceptance of defeat by certain other players last night.

Cant blame richo gives it his all, but in the third and last quarters on both occassions i think the ball was pretty much in the pies fwd line for the first 8 mins....Midfield and running backs...what running backs?

You're right Richo is Richo and he will always wear his heart on his sleeve. Love it or hate it. What I don't like is how he kept looking at the umpire while the ball was still alive. Play to the whistle!

In terms of poor body language I thought Bowden was the worst offender. He needs to lift his game. It hasn't been mentioned much, but he has had a very quiet start to the season (by his standards).

Any chance B1 was annoyed his brother had been dropped?

May be true, who knows realy?

Richmond look like a fighting team until the half time siren goes that is! Then its like pack up, time to go home.. When we got to 22 points in front its like they sealed the cake and took it easy! Too easy though! We could of ran out the woods by 60 points if we wanted too.

If they want to pack up their gear and head home at half time....then bloody well leave em behind.

I hate that I am going to take my ball and go home body language. Gee Richo....with a build like that he shold be able to split packs and create havoc.....with his pace he should be able to harrass and show some leadersip. Bowden .....gee how many screw ups so far this year. Do not recall to many positives and his kicking out has become a joke.

Body language...look at the way the young blokes chase and hit the packs

Why wasn't he annooyed about this in the first half? Did he only notice Patrick's absence at half time when he got a slice of orange for him?
I went to the game and taped it, and just finished watching it. I dont think he wasn't trying. He was simply out positioned by someone that weighs about 15kg more than him, and wrong footed on a lead on another occasion.

Fact is, when you are playing in defense and the opposition midfield takes over, the job becomes twice as hard full stop.

The problem was Joel was tired and our midfield just bombed it in.

Last week against Sydney we lost because of the same reason, Sydney took their time and made sure every target was hit, Collingwood did the exact same thing.

We seem to think that Richo will mark it and it will be all good, sorry, not the case!

The scarey thing is that from the past 7 games played (including pre-season) we have only won one game, and it was against Collingwood by 7, it's not just the past three games it's been going on for over 2 months now and the problem is still evident.
