Bomber Kids can do it.

Agreed mal brown.
Eade at the Bullies has at least taken his team to finals & no wooden spoons.
There is pressure on Eade but as you say ToO there are no wooden spoons but finals on his current resume.Wallace would be short priced favourite in respect to the next coach to be sacked.

Wallace and Eade are the only two coaches who are at risk of being sacked this year. All the other likely cellar dwellers have new coaches. If both us and the doggies are 0-5, you'd think Eade would be favourite to go first.

Have to agree, although both will be fumbling for the Mogadon to get through some sleepless nights at 0-5. Eade has a more mature list and needs to show he can develop a versatile team that copes when teams shut down their game plan A. Otherwise, a new messenger may be sought. I think this is the danger too for Knights and Essendon - it won't take long for other teams to notice thier "madball" (as put by Nathan Buckley) style of play and begin to put strategies in place to combat it. Then the mettle is more trully tested.

However, I don't really see Eade or Wallace being sacked before the season is out.

lloyd/fletcher/michael will be gone soon but guys like houli, myers, jetta and hislop will be good players imo
None of them are KPP.
At the moment they rely on Fletcher, Michael, Lucas and Lloyd as there KPP and they arent going to be around forever. Sure there is Gumbleton but after that if falls away and Pears is probably more of a 3rd tall.

Ryder is a gem IMO. He will play taller than he is.

Funny it looks remarkably similar to our game plan yet apparently our young players are too stupid to learn it.

OMG! :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi

I love this, you are right.

You can say one of three things.

Either the coaching staff message is not getting through, or being given the WRONG message OR the playing group are just too dumb, lazy or stupid? Which one is it? ;D ;D ;D

Oops I forgot, Essendon SUX also. :spin

they have been playing the run and carry style that we have been trying to play except they are 10 times better than us when they dont have the ball which is the difference

The run ad carry is fine and you are right about their play when they don't have the ball. But the run and carry works because when they do have the ball, the players who don't have it run like mad b!stards (or Kingy ;D) in support. Watch Geelong.

Why we can't do that remains a mystery, it's not rocket surgery( :hihi )! But it requires the support players to run hard to provide an option and accept that they won't always get the ball. They will get it often, but not every time. It only works if many options are provided. This time you shepherd - hard! >:D - next time you get the hand-off. Next time you've got it, you know i'll run in support for you, or shepherd - hard! >:D - to clear the pressure.

oh cmon at least gumbleton ryder myer and pears are in their system while the oldies are there. both pears and meyer will be capable of holding down kp in time especially pears. they also took darcy daniher and a kid called cale hooker from east freo who i liked. funny isnt it 4 picks 4 talls. they lost a few talls and they werent going to let it become a gaping hole in the list.overall they have 17 genuine tall players on the list imo they need to draft at least 2 more quality ones that would make 19. they can then weed out who has to go and who stays.

The only thing that I am impressed about is in one summer, Knights has installed a game plan that is very noticeable and the group has adopted it.

Here we are in year four and we are still looking for a game plan and a identity.

I am still happy to take bets that the Bombers don't make the eight.
