Interesting to hear the tiger faithfull booing during play when we had the ball. Late in the 2nd qtr i think. A real sign of what is thought about our style of play.

do you seriously blame people for booing ?

Why kick the ball backwards and sidewards ? We are not going to score goals by kicking backwards. To win the game, you must kick the ball forwards.

I want to see the team move the ball on quickly and go direct.

Fans from all teams are sick of that style.

I have been to a few games this year that are like that. And all fans seem to boo it.

Just yesterday - Demons fans booed ( very breifly) whebn the chipping in the backline was happening - the players moved it on then.

mustve been on the wing as where we were we had no boos. Apart from at the lions . . .

and the adelaide chip style game is worth booing. We dont want to see that crap.

I bet you and everyone else here who attended the game sung the song at the end though ... ;)

The Adelaide games tactics were Adelaide's fault. All they had to do was man up and play accountable footy. They didn't ... Blame them.

Spot on meltiger.

Can't blame the player with the ball. Quite often, on the back of a Brisbane turnover a Richmond player would look further down the ground only to see loose Brissie players. More likely an indictment on the overall game plan. We are generally a stop and prop team.

I agree , but the other problem is our players are just too lazy to create options down the ground!

It is really starting to concern me, when the player has the ball, most,if not all of our players just casually jog around waiting for them do do something without giving him any options :frustration

Well after a bit of head scratching and dissapointed looks, :guitar :guitar :hula yes we sang the song. not a win, not a loss, not pretty football, but 2 points is better than none! ;D

i played the theme song on my phone on loudspeaker all the way across the bridge up to my car in little collins st.. just reminding everyone what the song sounded like.. i dont reward a draw.. but its not worth crying about.. i lifted some peoples spirits coming out the gates!

Oh my mistake Tammy, i thought you meant the style we played against Adelaide, not Adelaide's style!

Woops :-[

But yes, I witnessed a couple of drunken renditions of the song by you lot after the game ;)

I have the ring tone for a few tiger friends, I get to hear the song at least 3 or 4 times during and after the games! ;D

I was at both Melb v Adelaide and Rich v Brisbane games and there was a little bit of booing, but if teams manned up there would not be a problem I reckon.

If there is a flood it is hard to beat unless you move the ball quickly. When we did move it quickly we turned it over... double edged sword at the moment ? Hopefully experience will improve our teams skill under pressure.

Good call. Yes, our fans did boo, but it had to do with our chip style of game in the backline going from one side to the other, and then going backwards.

It's not the players fault, you have to blame the coach who allows this crap called footy.
