Bowden disgrace.

I have no complaints for paid up supporters of the RFC to come in here and vent their anger/dissapointment towards players. Its certainly better than having them put a foot into the TV or punching the wall. What i really dislike is those "barrackers" of the RFC who do it. If you dont support them, then your opinion means nothing to me :)

I'm still willing to bet my left one he stars against the Swannies on Saturday night and make a mockery of this thread.

I'll take that bet tim. ;D

But please don't post me the proof of you paying up...a med cert from Doc Larkins will be fine. ;)

All you blood suckers that have jumped on the bandwagon and given J. Bowden a spray over last Friday night's game should watch closely on Saturday night against the Swans.  The loss of Joel (pending an appeal from the club) this weekend will surely expose how important he is to our backline.

One %&$#@*& bad game and all the PRE parasites are out to drink his blood. FFS, he's had one really bad game over a period of two and a half season of working his butt off, not to mention 2 B&F's

Does J. Bowden really deserve the criticsm he has copped on this thread over just one game?  I don't think so!
and all you super sensitive new age ferals should calm down a bit before you pop a blood vessel. once more all most have said  is basically he was unaccountable and he should have tightened up as soon as he started getting carved up. ffs so many rfc players are unaccountable i would have thought ferals would be happy that someone bought it up rather than sweeping it under the carpet. but it seems most are happy to live in ignorant bliss.sheesh and you lot go crook about one eyed opposition supporters. well they have nothing on you lot of peace loving rose coloured overly optimistic one eyed ferals. its got to the point where one has to defend every justified criticism.who here thinks *smile* was unaccountable on the weekend . end of story.

Claw you just put yourself in with the exact same list GPB is referring to. Phantom was right in his analysis of the match up. We are stretched down back, but now Bowden can't even have one bad game as GPB said.

Anyone would think we got another 100 point drubbing the way some are carrying on here.

I honestly think some on here secretly hope we do get a drubbing so they can come out and pound their chest some more and say I told you so.

whos calling for his head no body. this thread has degenerated because ferals cant cop criticism of *smile* even when its justified. what do you lot want people to say. oh yeah bowdo had a great game on the weekend he really gave robbo a touch up. when the fact is joel had to tighten up once robbo started getting on top. and if he refused to do so wallace should have moved him or dragged him.

I can normally see where the dark siders, claw and craig, are coming from (forget Laff and Diggler, they're a joke), but this time you've over stepped the mark claw.

If now you're saying Joel was "unaccountable" then, fine, you're right, he wasn't. He played a shocker and I'm sure he knows it better than most.

But this thread title is calling him a 'disgrace". You should be *smile*ing ashamed of yourself for launching into a title like that. Joel's been one of our standouts and most reliable in our darkest hours. Without him we would have lost more games. To label him as a "disgrace" after one bad showing is showing you for what you truly are, and that's the disgusting feral side of some richmond 'supporters' that make the most of us ashamed.

Wake up to yourself and call them as they should be called. 'unaccountable' - Yes. 'shocker of a game' - yes. "Disgrace" - no *smile* way.

like i said over sensitive ferals. it was a disgraceful performance from a senior player who should know better.he refused to do the team thing and at least try and curb his direct opponent who was carving us up. oh no joel chose to play loose and chase the easy kicks thats disgraceful. whats even more disgraceful is wallace let him get away with it.

Go back to Clawthorn.

This thread is way over-exaggerated. He was a small bit uaccountable yes, BUT he was stil la crucial finder of the ball i nte hbackline adn although he had a fair few clangers without him there in the backline the result would have been a hell of a lot worse. I dont think you can jsut downplay his 30+ possessions just like that all because he was a little bit unaccountable. General of our backline and wasnt as terrible as many make out.

Agreed. We will miss him badly this sat night. Our backline now with newman and bowden out is very weak. O'Laughlan, O'Keefe, Hall, Schneider, possible davis if he returns will be very hard to control.

Could be another ugly result im afraid. ???

Sometimes players just get beaten on the day. You can either have a tight marking full back like Gaspar, or you have a play-maker like Bowden. Just because he was beaten does not mean he was unaccountable.

Before Robbo took the speccy on Bowden we had the ball - Joel ran all the way up to the forward line to create an extra player. The ball was turned over and he had to sprint all the way back only to have Robbo stand on his head.

Bad luck - you could say he should not have left his man but if our forward line had been functioning better he would not have had to do this, or he might have kicked a goal as he did a few weeks back. Could have looked like a genius, instead looked like a chump.

Them's the breaks.

There's a word for Claw calling us ferals...now what it is it? Ironic? Hypocrytical? I'm not sure.

If it is any sort of game we experienced at Telstra Dome iitb, then the Sydney crowd might think we'll be barracking for the Swans, with Tiger colours. ;D

Yo Claw, I can tolerate the beautiful name calling you give to Krak, Tivendale etc., but when you start calling our dual B&F '*smile*', who has only put one real shocker of a game this year, then it's not really fair. ;D

Its his continued pathetic reference to respected posted as ferals that makes me laugh. ;D

I think blaming the coaching staff is a cop out. If the coach tells a player to sacrifice his game to play defensively then he should do what the coach asked, not try and play how he normally does.

Why dont people let this thread fade into the deepest bowls of PRE - honestly the past is the past now so lets look to the future of this great club. One game and we want to continually argue about what was right and wrong on the night. FWS let it go ::)
