JOEL BOWDEN - Dead set disgrace tonight and proved the greatest advertisement that quality possessions are more important than quantity.
Joel turned in a vintage turnover performance tonight, as well as stop start back and forward, stuttering stop start play, and i lost track at how many of his easy possessions went straight to the opposition.
For a so called leader Bowden makes just as many mental explosions and turns over possession as much if not more than a few of his more celebrated turnover companions and always has done.
Have never seen a player get so much of the footy and do absolutely nothing with it to hurt the opposition.
In fact as pointed out by Brereton (god help me for agreeing with him) but we went better with him off the ground when he was deservedly benched.
When the ball is so often in your defensive half there is no easier job on the footy field than running around and scoring lose free, possessions at will, and my mum could do that.
