Bowden, playing coach?

add in richo as goalkicking coach and jordan mcmahon as tackling coach I'd say. Bring back tivindale as well and we might be getting somewhere.

he got 44 meaningless touches, same old bowden racking up cheap stats
how many inside 50's - 3?
typical selfish bowden game

true true - wallace didnt use this tactics rounds 1-3.....but today bowdo was back to his 20m *smile* weak kick effort

I've never understood the Bowden criticisms from supporters.

Without him today it would have been much bigger than an 8 point margin.

and why would we want our young players looking up to and being inspired by a lazy, self centred, self preserving stat collector like bowden who always took the easy option?

as talented as bowden is/was he always lacked the intensity and mental toughness when the pressure was on (mind you he isnt alone at the RFC)

lets just clean out the old culture regardless of how many games they have left in our best 22 and start again with players that may lack the laconic skills as a bowden but are team orientated and will put their body on the line to protect a team mate

this rules out Brown, Richo, Bowden, Simmons, Pettifer, Mcmahon - add johnson as his time is up

thats a fair starting point for any new coach

Totally agree Tango and Cash. He should be one of the first oldies to go.

He is the first player to ruin a run on or react badly to pressure with his stagnant, sideaways-backwards and safe option *smile*.

Get rid of him.

Well said guys!

He is a mega dud and does not deserve to wear the Yellow and Black 11 made famous by his old man...who never took a backwawards step and Lawrie Fowler who dropped Big Nick!....Joel is a lazy player who would struggle in many sides due to his lack of effort
