Boycott the Herald Sun; do not buy it, do not read it, do not log onto their website.

Reminds me of Liverpool:

Many Liverpudlians don't buy The Sun in England either because of....yep, you guessed it....fabricated stories and false crap.

But instead of fabricating stories about the sacking of a coach, it was a fabricated story about the 96 Liverpool fans that got killed in the Hillsborough disaster.

The media here are no different it seems.

Tigersfury, don't let the drivel that emanates from the HS frustrate you.

Let's face it, no one reads the HS to educate themselves. It's not a serious paper. They still retain Barrett on the payroll. That says everything.

Don't get angry, just laugh. Any person with commonsense who reads today's offerings will realize who the ringleaders of the media circus were yesterday.

I would encourage anyone who hasn't read the paper today to do so and have the best laugh this side of Murray.

These days the HS is a 'newspaper' in name only. Instead of news, you get perspectives. Readers are required to use their imagination and play devil's advocate in order to get some semblance of balance.

LOL I stopped reading specific media 12 months ago and get my news fix from Google News which gives me all the stories on a topic and a slightly better chance of sifting out the reality.

I will believe in the Freedom of the press when my paper is free with no adds. Until then I will believe the press is a slave to its owners and advertisers.
