Great game Joel.
Bounced back against a very good opponent and answered your critics in the best way possible. :ner
Accountable in defence and made your opponent look foolish on several occasions in tough circumstances.

i could not agree more.

33 possesions and great run off back flank. Well done to him

Very good game today from Joel.

Considering we lost the centre and had more mid field turnovers, our defense as a whole did a good job to keep us in the match.

They usually do despite whoever's missing if they're given an even break.

Johnson still managed 3 goals to kick the most goals on the ground. That just shows the quality of the guy, would love him in our team. Saying that, on the day Bowden clearly beat him on the day and provided lots of drive. Fantastic game, and a great contest.

Johno's no doubt a star but those goals were opportunistic.
Joel clearly won the one on one contests.
After the pasting JB's been copping around here recently he deserves full credit and proved he's not just a one dimensional footballer as some here seem to suggest. ::)

Yes opportunistic but does it week in week out. Got beaten hands-down and still kicked the most goals on the ground. Just marvelling at his skill. Full credit to Bowden today, it still amazes me that some can find ways of bagging JB, after his dominant performances of the last few years.
