Breaking news:Deledio Quits Football

When I read this I thought it meant that Matt Deledio had quit footy!

OK, can confirm it, Cameron Smith from the Storm to play for Camberwell Maggies and Lids to play for RCC.

Brett Montgomery, Ringwood, also.

Here are a few pics feisty took of Lids at the cricket tonight. The goss is he took a wicket with his first ball, and got two in that over!

He also fell over on his second delivery and I think every Richmond fan there gasped, but it looked like just a scrape to the knee and ego when several Richmond footballers in the crowd yelled and jeered at him (all in fun) Reiwoldt, Pattison, McGuanne, and possibly a few others.

After all of my badgering lately :)

I have to make up for missing the training night somehow! :( >:( :-\

That and my boss decided that the Hawthorn Monash Uni v Casey SM game was more important than this one, I had to take action!

I had intended going to bed but decided to upload the pics for everyone to see first. Sweet dreams all. :sleeping

Did hear on 3aw in the car that he had taken 2/12 off three overs and was the best bolwer.

Was batting at number 8 and Richmond were in trouble so I reckon he would have got a bat.

Yeah he made 2 off the first ball he faced before being bowled by a gentle off spinner the very next ball! All the boys thought it was hilarious when he went down in his delivery stride (can't say I shared their sense of humour at the time!). Rainesy was there too and I'm pretty sure I saw Daniel Connors. By the way RCC went down by about 20 odd runs.
