Why isnt Brett kicking goals from his set shots? Is he carrying a niggling injury?
The missing link to a potentially superb player.

i think he is too unselfish

too many times this year on the run from 50-60 out he looks to pass it off or kicks to the top of the square. he is more than capable of kicking the goal.

have a crack brett. you are good enough to kick those

Agree,good post & well said.

I'm not worried. I was rapt with the mark he took over a scumwood player on sthn flank city end. Such clean hands. He's going fine. The bags of goals will come.

He had a big roost at one on Sunday.
From memory he was on or about 50 out and it was just touched on the line.
Not bad after slogging it out in the wet for a game and with a big heavy wet ball.

Goals will come for Lids, I was impressed with his little touches on Sunday, doing the little things that raise him above the ordinary.

I know it's easy to forget but he's half way through his second year of senior footy.

As his experience and confidence increases Lids will drill plenty of goals on the run. :thumbsup

Some of the kicks that he does are a joy to watch, at just 19 he is unloading 55-60 meter torps. A couple of weeks ago dont we all remember the shot he had from 55-60 that went straight through. Also Krackor loves the torp once in a while

Average at this stage want him to bust the lines more and look in board.Plough gives him all the freedom should be doing more with his pace.

Wasn't that the one that just landed short which Krack snaffled up and slotted for a goal?

I thought it went over the line touched because there was a group of players jostling in the square as it went through.
I could be wrong though

Loved his goal against the crows in the last quarter, burst out of the centre square, kicked it from 65 metres out, bounced about 2 metres from the goal line. I think the goal is in the Tiger TV section. Crucial goal at that stage of the match.

Yeah that was the one i was talking about. That was a memorable goal at a crutial part of the game. Really lifted the team to high levals. ;D

we should be very grateful he is still continuing to play good consistant football whilst not succoming to the second year blues. always alot more pressure on these boys to preform in there second year, esp if that player is carrying the NAB title, #1 draft pick and leagues fastest sprinter tags all on his head.

Don't forget he had a minor knee injury recently....might be a bit stiff...
