I am new to this forum, but have followed the TIGERS for over 63 years and read PRE regularly. I hear all the talk about TW having to go, but the way I see it a lot of the blame rests with our assistant coaches and especially BR. I attended a dinner nearly 5 years ago where TW spoke about what a bad problem we had with our skills and that BR was the best teacher of skills in the AFL. He said that BR was going to get the team out on the training track at 6am each morning until our skills got to a level where we were at the highest level in the AFL.
Well, what a failure that has been. Our foot skills are terrible, our handball is never used to attack, and as we all know we don't know how to tackle. What has BR brought to the club from the Western Bulldogs? NOTHING.... I can't see what he has done, and the few times I have heard him talk, he is VERY uninspiring. He has been an assistant coach to TW all his life and NO other club has tried to pick him up. He is NEVER going to coach the TIGES, so the time has come for him to GO. Let's make sure all our assistant coaches can either teach OR develop into a senior coach. BR is not a teacher NOR will he be a senior coach. BYe Bye BR
