Brian Taylor???

i liked his call too , especially when Lloyd kicked the winner
Bristol sounded genuinely excited that the tigers won

Most of them seemed to get Lloyd and Rioli confused. The just see a small player and the number 7 and take a guess. BT was better than usual the other night. Seemed to stay on the right edge of hysteria and didn't make too many stupid comments or needle his fellow commentators. Possibly because the game was close for most of the night.

Boy o boy !!! What are u talking about ? BT is the best caller in the game . He's exciting and passionate! Seriously it was an amazing call! Loved every second!

Credit where due, a great call the other night. Made it seem like a big game. Makes a huge difference when they're not focusing on Richmond's errors all the time.

I've done that a few times this year!

Repetitive sayings, loud and doesn't know the players (bit like big Rex when he was on his way down).
Agree with others that he and Zemplis are ordinary commentators.

I prefer commentators who know who the players are and knows how to describe the game accurately and can provide some insight. I am not interested in the theatrics of commentators, for me its about the game not the commentator.

Didn't mind bristle.
Christian on 3aw was the best.
They played all the calls on AFL 360 and Christian went orrrff and he's a Collingwood man.

THIS, though lets not forget the top rating shows on tv are contrived reality shows, thats the mentality that they aim at these days.
My fav BT was the other week when he said coach "x" was going to implode from the inside!!!! :spin

It never ceases to amaze me how lazy commentators can be. How often do they see a Richmond turnover and start a rant about Richmond turnovers, whilst the images on the screen show the other team turning it back over. This, of course, passes without comment.
