Dunstall and Frawley hamming up some made up fued, has got to be the most embarassing footy related TV right now.
The original TV football fued in Dunstall and Newman is the only funny hammed up footy fued, as eminem says, "all the rest are just immitators".
Most ex football players turned commentators have an extremely high opinion of themselves. The exceptions are: Richo, Harley, Lloyd, Ling.
But in the other corner you have Lyon, Breretton, Brownless, Crawford, Dunstall, Frawley, Roos, Malthouse, Taylor, Healy. Of this lot I can stomach Brownless, Dermie and Healy. Crawf is a fair dinkum clown, but harmless. The rest are blacklisted from my life, I actively switch them off any media they are on.
BT's fall in public opinion from humurous radio commentator to woeful TV commentator has been dramatic. As for the non football commentators. Liking Wheatley/Robinson on 360. Like Healy/Sheehan on Couch. Like Thomas, Wilson on Classified. Like Harf, Ox on SEN. Cannot stand Brayshaw, Barrett, Hutchy, Bartlett, Russell, McGuire, McAveney. Cometti and Newman annoying me this year, but both have credits in the bank from previous years so cutting both slack.
If I've missed any that's coz they are nobodies or I just don't watch, listen or read their stuff.
"woweee look at the support staff I know something about"......... [long pause because he doesn't know the name of the 15 game player with the ball] ........."football factory!"............ "he's a Richmond player so he can't kick and should play within his limitations".......... [tries to bait Richo, Richo barely manages to hide his contempt in his reply]...... "people don't kick at goal as well as they did in my day".............
