Dont know if he is out of contract or up for trade, but i have seen this kid play and he is the next scott west.
he is great around the contest and shows great leadership and poise beyond his years.
Hipothetically speaking if he was up for trade would richmond go after him and what would he be worth.

I rate this guy very highly.

any thoughts.

ps. another guy, same team colin sylvia, is there potental there.

Brock McLean is lethal around goal and will find an excuse to shoot.

Very good young players, there's no way Melbourne would be letting either of them go. They're the future of the club.

Both signed for an extra 2 years midway through this season.
Although I sincerely doubt the Dees would let anyone take either of these blokes, just because you've signed a contract doesn't mean you can't be traded. Fevola signed a 3 year contract before the end of the season that he hasn't even started yet and Krak has another 2 years left on his current contract, both keep getting mentioned in trade deals.

The current AFL rules state that

"In a change from the 1998-2003 CBA, the current CBA ensures that all Players drafted for the first time must be contracted by that AFL Club for a minimum period of 2 years."

Contracted players can only be traded if they agree, which they probably would, since why would they stay at a club that doesn't want them.

The bigger difficulty could be finding a club to take over their contract

McLean looked good early in the year but his form dropped off, still would be a handy pickup but Demons won't trade him. There too busy trying to offload Ben Holland.
