Will he ever be dropped for poor performance? I think not.
so, what we clearly have at RFC is an inner sanctum which TW reflects on before each selection has to take place.
Kids normally aren't in to it (politics that is, and just want to play footy) so I reckon Brown leads the brat pack and what he says to Terry goes.
Bowden doesn't need to be a part of it as he is his own man so he was always going to be de positioned by the inner sanctum.
I reckon he has had enough and is happy to be with his wife and family this weekend. in fact knowing that his pay is not performance related means he will take whatever pathetic *smile* Wallce dishes out.

Settle down Will Thursfield! :hihi

If there is ever a person who deserves some extra slack it's this guy.
This is the first time since his leg snapped into a million pieces he looks to have regained full fitness.
Yes, to date his output has not been great. I am however willing to give him some extra time before taking pot shots at him. Just cast your mind back to that night against Melb and all the diffferent directions his leg appeared to be going in.

Also with the likes of Bowden and Petticoat Junction out this week we need to have some experience on the large expanses of Subi. I don't expect to win but I'll back in Robin (Brown) to team up a whole lot better with Big Batman (Richo) and lead the likes of Eddo, and the good Riewoldt to a more competitive performance!

So to sum up:

Ease up on Brown for a few more weeks and then you can let fly if it hasn't turned around.
I believe his form will have improved by then and you will have to keep your powder dry, Willy T !!! :hihi

Would like to think that no one is untouchable but not sure if thats the case.
Browny being a marquee player would have to have some really poor outings to wear the red and blue.

Would be interested to see how his clothing label is going.
Lenny was the name but I have a feeling its changed names.

Sold Lenny a while back Matt

the guts of my thread is related to how the politics might work at the club currently. I am an ardent supporter of Brown, however was putting a slant on it that might help us very frustrated RFC devotees understand why some very weird decisions are being made.
mind you - big gordy ramsay might be just the tonic for this mob :pullhair

Ok fair enough Willy T!
You would not be the first person to be surprised by some of the decisions made by those in power. They need to be more accountable to the Members. Like I've mentioned on other threads Players, Officials come and go but we are stuck with this club for good. They need to put in front of us and be forced to say: Yes I was the guy who recruited Paul Hudson, Yes I was the guy who asked The Dominator to be runner, Yes I was the guy who rated Fiora better than Pavlich etc.

Maybe then better decisions will start to be made and we will all feel much happier!
Apologies for misinterpreting your thread as a shot at Nathan G. Brown!!! :fing32
