Who cares what Naif said, it's not as if what he says will have any impact on the club.
Agree, Connors has the potential to be an A grader, 1st tier player or whatever lingo ya wanna call it.

Look seriously though I really hope that Connors can make it, like I hope that every bloke on the list will, but he's been around 3 years now and still doesn't seem to have grasped the albeit limited opportunities he's had.

Tambling is a family man these days, a good head on his shoulders, man with a view of the future, and has done the hard yards on both capacities that Connors lacks. Regardless of his ego he was a top class player before then but just couldn't get the consistency back after that. Connors is so far off being anywhere near Nathan Brown it's not funny. The guy barely makes a ripple at Coburg level.

If my memory serves me correctly NGBrown hit the scene in his first year getting close to BOG's, he came up against us in his first year and absolutely tore us a new one on the MCG that sunny Saturday afternoon.

The club is letting Browny is do a lot of media and set himself up as an analyst for his post footy career, fair enough too.
