I've already commented about Ch 10 showing it but that doesn't make the gesture acceptable either. If he didn't so such a stupid thing they couldn't have shown it.
I'd certainly rather he didn't do it but I often seem to have different values to some people here. I can cop that, we're all different, but for example I wouldn't approve of my kids doing it to their grandma. I wouldn't approve of a teacher doing it to my kids. I wouldn't be happy if a friend, or a policeman or my bank manager showed me such contempt. I therefore don't approve of Cousins, as a representative of our club, doing it to the football public either. The cameras are often in rooms to show footage to the viewing public so Ben has an over-inflated sense of his own self importance if he thought they were specifically for him and he's all the more stupid for reacting to them.

The camera is there in all cases to record something for all people to see.
Of course the tv stations hope they record something controversial. that's how they make money in the end.
