Browny-Tool of the Week / Cousins??? finger? [Merged]

Read somewhere else that the Ch 10 dressingroom camera followed him and noone else for the entire warm up and his finger gesture was basically a "you want to follow me, cop this"

If this is true, then Ch 10 should have to explain why they borderline harrass one player.

It's not true. It was a *fixed* camera that all players know has been there for years.

And funny how he didnt have a problem with the camera crew he brought into the change rooms while he was filming his doco, but oh yeah that was $$$ for him.

Not surprised he charges the club $20 for every jumper and photo he signs ::)

Yes, I've noticed people do and say stupid things MLD.

Indeed. Cousins does a stupid thing and people stupidly whinge about it.

Funny seeing Fatboy Adolf slouching back complaining about Cuz with a thought of more AFL revenue to arrive. That's all he's interested in. I can't believe the hypocrits that exist. Why doesn't he blame Ch 10 for showing it considering that AFL clubs were grateful enough to give these stupid TV stations a chance to view private scenes in club rooms.

Ch 7 news showed Cuz walking into the airport and mentioned a few sarcastic words to a journalist near the door. I couldn't clearly hear what the words were, but the way he's walking away from the media now compared to the 'friendliness' he showed just before he joined us, shows that he's truly sick & tired of them.

Listen to Nova tomorrow morning at 8.30am and he might give us his reason.

Lot of people have been waiting to jump all over BC for a long time. He gave them the chance. No big deal. He has done more good then bad and is without doubt the most hunted person in media circles, like ToO said I am shocked that it took this long for him to lash out at the media. Has shown that if his body holds up he can still dominate at the top level.

Apparently the reason will be revealed 'exclusively' in tomorrows HUN..........and probably on NOVA as well :hihi

So we let it go to the keeper?I am sure if it was Fev,Buddy, you would have a good crack at them.He was an idiot for doing that.Full stop.

I think it was a spur of the moment thing, rather than a pre meditated thing, and he probably regrets it now,

not another bloody camera, Here you go then camera, cop this one,

Not sure exactly why, but i saw the funny side of it when i first watched it, even thogh i knew it was wrong,

In a few brief seconds he probably summed up how alot of us at Richmond , supporters and all, feel towards the wider football community, particularly the media ,

Yeah but it was'nt the right thing to do , and now he will cop some grief.

It's funny how the media change it about to suit them... the way I saw it was the the camera was not fixed, whoever was on that camera decided to follow Cousins, got the flip, Cousin's way of sticking it up to the media... odd really in one way as the media helped his profile and celeb status, but Ch10 decided to run it, how long was it before the game, and hour? really making up 'another' story to fill the rags Monday!

The person operating the camera must have been high up the wall then. I just watched it again and Ben is looking up into the camera.  The camera doesn't appear to move, rather Ben moves towards it. It also shows other players in the background and they make it appear the camera is in a fixed position.

some interesting points here.
1/ The players have at least an hour to themselves after the initial team meeting. Its there time to get prepared and to get changed without any contact from coaches or staff etc.
2/ The camera has a red light on the bottom of it by memory, so the players actually know when there being recorded.
Apparently Cousins was the only player being filmed before the game, he got a bit sick of it and did the bird ,
3/Channel 10 would have footage of undresssed players etc but they dont show it, they went and showed this , why ???makes headlines and gains ratings ????
All interesting

No worries Mr T. I don't know the first thing about cameratogrophy. I just assumed if it was following Cousins the perspective of the players in the background would change at the same time. Then again my last movies I took were super 8 so technology could have changed a bit since my day.

then you saw it wrong :)
From memory it was following him as he was walking along the wall but I have only seen it once. Gotta say I am with Kiwi Tiger here, it game me a chuckle and I could appreciate why it was done but then I think the cameras in the rooms is a mistake and they should be removed. My reson for this is simple, where can the players go to get some privacy at this time? In Vlads desire for that media 'phat cash' he has made impositions on these people's lives.

Don't particularly care what a player does in the warm up before a game. Run naked, moon the camera, sit there doing absolutely nothing...... doesn't mean it needs to be shown on TV. It's not Big Brother we are watching, or was that Gretel I spotted in the corner. Sure there's been worse done in front of these cameras intentionally and unintentionally. Media beat up, let it go.

End of the day WE WON, and CUZ played good for us......... END....OF.....STORY......

Ok, Ok, I got a man crush........

stuff the media......... Benny mate we luv ya........with or without the bird.......

:clap
