Buckley is in love

Sooner or later the AW commentary team are going to ban Buckley from talking about Cotchin. He compliments him nearly every time he gets the ball. The kid is brilliant and I think it's a measure of how good that Buckley rates him so highly.

I don't wanna jinx the kid but if you take out Richo he is the best looking prospect to come through the doors in 20 years.
With a bit of luck this kid is going to be a superstar and lets hope we can muster up a little more success for him than what we have given poor old Richo.
I dunno i reckon Lids (The prototype) as my mate calls him is up there too. I think he has only now just starting to show a glimpse of what he is capable of

Well its nice to know Buckley knows talent when he sees it. He is not the only one in love with The Cotch. :hearton :cutelaugh

BTW did anyone see Trent go up to Nathan Brown in the last quarter and pat him on the shoulder in encouragement. I thought that showed great leadership considering his youth. :clap

cotch is a heap better footballer than foley....in my opinion...foley is fast..but cotch is beautiful to watch...silky smooth...

Cotchin is all class. Champion in the making. Has the body type, the smarts, the skills, the tenacity, everything you need. It's pretty exciting to have Cotchin, Lids and FOley all in the same midfield and all 22 years old and younger. They're our key midfielders for the next 10 years.

Credit to Francis Jackson who stuck with Cotchin as his favourite, even when the boy was carrying serious injuries.

And after his pretty poor U18s form. The temptation to change must have been there after that carnival.

Did you also see him patting all his teammates on the back and geeing them up, as they ran on to the ground for their pre game warm up (it was in the background on Foxtel while Gerard & co were raving on) and then I think it was Polak gave him a bit of a hair ruffle.

I think David Parkin is in love with Cotchin too!

He is. I also have been impressed with David parkin's special comments over the past 2 Richmond games. He's obviously very knolwedgeable and his comments are always insiteful, unlike some other forgeries going around.

It'll be even better when my boy Putt is ramming it down Cotch's throat!! ;)

He needs support around him otherwise he will be tagged out of games. Foley is similar. His output since the all stars match has been ordinary at best. is probably carrying an injury and is being given a heavy tag each week to stop his run and carry.
