I might get howled down but here goes.
IMO Buckley would be a good prospect as a player development Manager. His professional approach to all aspects of the game - self - teamates- etc. could be just what we need at this time.
Lets not take into account he was with the wobblers, look it as to what the Tigers need in the future.

Agree, he has tremendous personal drive for success and if he's able to impart that to others, he'd be great for Richmond. Whether he fits into the club's plans is the issue.

He'd be the ideal guy to get to the club in some sort of assistant / development role considering how introverted our list is. Maybe some of our guys will fast track as leaders with Buckley around. Might cost a few bob tho!

Buckley will be inundated with job offers. Not sure a role Tigerland would be high on his wish list.

He would be superb, IMO would be better then Voss by the length of Punt Rd.

Agree, SCOOP. Archer is the one who is miles smarter than you'd guess. I'd love to see us go after Archer.

Archer has stated publicly that he "just couldn't go to another club, Iv'e been at the Kangas for 17yrs now & it just wouldn't feel right anywhere else".
So don't hold your breath for Arch.

Heard on SEN today he has taken on a role as manager for membership sales, still hopes to keep the Kangas in Melbourne

Excellent post TT. An interesting suggestion. I agree whole-heartedly that that kind of single-minded professionalism would be invaluable for our developing list. Here's hoping that he has learned from his one-club experience that sometimes you do need to look further afield and that success can be found in unlikely places.

While the idea of it is nice, Buckley is Eddies first love and he would have a few jobs already lined up for him at the dyslexus centre.

Arch would be brilliant, shame he is staying at the roos
