PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Just when you thought that the worst was behind him, just when we though last month that maybe he could still get back, it looks like it was one too many.

I have a similar injury, not to the same extent and it has been on-going for years, for a player at the highest level, it is just too hard.

Its not a normal hamstring injury. Its a minor tear of the muscle on the bone and therefore effects the structure and nerves also. Im no doctor but, having the similar injury means I can give my insight. When they sent Nathan Buckley for microscopic revolutionary surgery that proved that it was a very serious injury that was not mendable from traditional methods.

Good luck to him anyway, I hope he does manage to get through this, but it surely doesnt look like it. A champion and great superstar of the game.
