Tigers piling on the misery for the Crows.

A Beanie led Glenelg put them out of SANFL finals and he and they will play off in the GF.

Beanie with 4 including 3 in the premiership quarter where Glenelg went from 8 points down at half time to 18 points up at the last change.

BTW 54 goals in 19 games for Liam.
54 goals is a bloody good effort for a small forward.

I reckon the 2017 GF loss for the Crows is a huge sliding doors example.

They win and they’re obviously premiers. No way everyone who wants out now would have wanted out if they’d won. Same for Pyke, no way he’d have stepped down.

Lose and they slowly fall apart, Pyke quits, don’t make finals, player exodus.

Starting to feel a little guilty for ruining the crows....

Ahhh, that moment has passed!

They lose all those players in one hit n they'll be fighting for the spoon a few times over the next few years n then a heap of their fancy draftees will all be wanting to leave a *smile* hole cellar dweller.

Will the Great Power Ranger, Tex Walker, see his days out at the Crows or will he too be looking for greener pastures in the twilight of his career??
Reckon he's stuck with the Crows and he will finish his career in a miserable team.

No other club would take him. Not being nasty, just can’t see who would want him.

it is a player exodus but its a win to the crows
# IF they keep the crouch brothers.

Look who is gone
Betts who didnt kick multiple goals against anyone but the suns. His time has come.
Greenwood and Ellis Yeoman - big mids who added slow to their midfield. Expendable. Keep Crouches.
Keath is a good tall defender and will be missed, but it wont cost them games. They would probs prefer to keep him.
Sauce Jacobs. replaced by a younger doofus. Was likely to play 2s all year in 2020.
Douglas and Ottens retired which will save on medicals.
Jenkins. Enough said.
Crows would be rapt. 8 older players off the books. Salary cap space. Opportunity to bring in speed.

On a side note look at Brisbane. Crazy to offer 4 year deals to big slow 27yo Ellis Yeoman.
Thats 2 years of reserves footy before he retires.
Compare to picking up Marlion on a 6month contract.
Lions have a younger list profile but it is a similar decision to us picking Miles.

I get the feeling he's a big part of the problem there. For a captain, his body language during the 2017 GF was rubbish IMO; and I'm not talking about after the game was gone.

It's a little bit like Richmond at the end of 2009, when ~1500 games of experience left the club.

Although the Crows tend to stew their players in the SANFL before bringing them into the senior side, they have only 16 under-24's on the list - five fewer than any other club. They're virtually compelled to hit the draft hard and cop some downtime.

Reckon Taylor might be one of the reasons so many have had enough and want out. Worst captain in the league.

Yep this the going to leave the Crows in a good spot if they can get things right at the Trade and draft tables.

They needed a cleanout and re build and its now here on all fronts.

Must get the right coach though.

Maybe Bassett is the man for the job.

Unless there's a heap of idiots at the other clubs, they're not going to get much at the trade table without throwing in the Crouch brothers.

When was the last time a club was emphatically broken after losing a Grand Final. What we did to Adelaide is unprecedented

Totally agree with this, no idea what Brisbane are doing. They need some classy ball users to take the next step, another that is a relatively poor kick of the footy will ensure they continue to dominate clearances, dominate inside 50's but not be able to score against the better teams.
