Well fellow PREnders, its monday morning in paradise....
Im not hung over despite the crown lagers gettin a fair towelling Im tellin yas for free.....
Now that Ill be struttin aroud preaching the gospel of sports supremacy by victoria not oly playing the Best brand of footy in the land of OZ but Victorian teams showin the kiwis, the NSW and others how to go about playin theirs ,and Ill be vociferous in my reminders to the folk up here of that very fact!
Dunno about Saturday though....I still HATE geelong, but ive got to give credit where its due, they not only broke their drought, but did it with such purpose, focus and its was quite obvious 5 minutes into the game that its was gonna be a public flogging,a MASSACRE,a total and clinical dissection, then a thorough pantsing, before a total obliberation of that pathetic and poor exuse for a football club that Port Adelaide call emselves.
Congratulations Geelong,I relished every goal, every passage of play that resulted in widening the margin between the teams.
But what does this say about Port Adelaide,s effort?Did their meek capitulation make the cats look infinetly too good,or was is a case of the cats doin this to whoever were gonna be on the ground that day?
Whatever the case...this is gonna hurt Port really badly, and it will shut up the natives over the border there eh PERnders?Theyre gonna be a basket case I reckon.Cheers everyone!
And the chocolates and the chardy go to Melboure storm too,I thoroughly enjoyed the game thanks! :clap :hihi :clap 8)

I've hardly given Saturday's game a second thought nitrous. Fitting the Cats won it because they were the best team all season and they play a good style of football for supporters to watch. I was glad Williams was given a lesson by an old school ruckman.

I'm just rapt the season is finally over and we're all back on level footing again.

Here's hoping 2008 is the year of the Mighty Tigers. :cupgold

Hi Nitro,

Saturday's game took me back to sitting through both the '80 & '88 GFs where both losers received a thrashing.

It was pathetic to see the Port team effectively give up on a GF 20 minutes into the 1st qtr.

During discussions at cricket training yesterday the point was raised, "Is it better not to make the GF at all, than go out in the pathetic way Port did?"

Glenn Archer in his column today said that, that he'd rather not make the GF at all than go out in that manner.
