Bummers

We will need to play tempo when it's required.

Yep. Psychological tactics are good against in-form teams......especially the Bummers.

We play it better now than under Wallace.

Tuck to Jobe & Grigg to mind Stanton. If we do this and break even or close I don't see how we could lose. Let the rest of their team try to beat us.

I'm nervous about the game but feel more confident when I look at the team sheets.

Unfortunately counts for little this week. I just remember the horrible feeling of us conceeding 10 straight goals against them last year, after we were 4 goals up in the 3rd quarter. Gutted.

I don't want to experience that again this week. Up to the 22 to make sure I don't.

I was back home for a visit from the US for that game. Debacle.

We have been a lot more consistent in our efforts over 4 quarters this season.

Fingers crossed.

Hey guys,

Been a long time since I have posted here. Can anyone help me out? I just tried purchasing my tickets for the game (I'm a club member) and it says that the tickets allocation are exhausted! Surely more will be released!!??

Would be devastated if I were to miss out on seeing us beat the Bummers live!!! :-\

It's almost the same scenario as last year, watch the Bombers bomb out of contention over the next 6-8 weeks.

Agree, they get themselves up for the early rounds but fall apart apart 8 weeks in. I can't figure out how they are better, it's the same players on the park, can they really have improved that much?

what do people think of this campaign? i acknowledge that james *smile* is a favourite son of their club and the golden child of the AFL media... but gee, if he was our coach and it was proven he did some unscrupulous things, wouldn't you want him goneski? my point being is that it's probably a bit premature to mount a campaign in support of your coach.

and what if the bummers fail to make the finals again this year? even their snooty supporters will be looking for answers. i wonder if they would be mounting this campaign if the bummers were 0-3? i doubt it.

I don't know the first thing about the campaign or where that's from. I do wonder why you wanted to highlight in such a glaring way on a Richmond forum though. :vomit

we have threads that ridicule carlton and collingwood, why not the bummers?

Not a bad slogan. When he's foubnd guilty of being complicit in injecting his players with wada banned drugs, they can quickly change it to #STANDONTIRD

How on earth is this going to affect the ASADA investigations/findings??! It's NOT! Hopefully by R15 they'll be playing half of the extended Daniher/Watson relatives just to field a side.

Goldenboy is above ASADA's findings. His doesn't stink no matter what.
It will be someone else's fault even if it's his with plenty of Bomber supporters.

call my cynical but i fnd it hard to disagree with that.

Greg Denham joked this morning to the Bumber flog behind this propaganda campaign, that the signs could easily be changed to Stand Down Hird if required. :hihi

The Bumber flog didn't take it that well.

To be fair, maybe it's an instruction to James himself, as in "Stand by Jimmy....we got news for ya! (and it ain't good!)"

their supporters are delusional, they really think he is above
anything illegal, they think because they keep winning he mustn't or cant
be guilty....

look at the practices he and his cohorts employed last year, this is going
to trip up bambi, the AFL will make sure of this...
