Yeah, I got few :hihi out of that thread as well. Especially where people were complaining about it's length (all 18 pages).

But if you can't get a little excited over what happened late in the 2007 season and some of the new youth in the team for next year then I feel a little sorry for you.

FWIW i couln't have cared less about our lack of wins this season - we played the kids, were competitive in the main and played some passages of exciting footy. Less wins = better picks ;D.

I also couldn't care less re. the number of wins in 2008! Another 4 wins and numerous honorable defeats will do me fine (but 15th rather than 16th please!). More draft gold - in fact, the jackpot :clap!
Some posters will probably suggest we'd only get rid of our high picks or get duds if that were to happen Djevvery ;)

Not to mention all the soft, outside, skinny flankers we'll get. :hihi

Hey, but don't forget we've got this new bloke, CC. He actually posts on sites like this, you know! No doubt with all the sage advice he will get, we'll get the list balanced up in no time ;).

I'm sure plenty of "expert" advice will be forthcoming

That team isn't that bad.
I reckon the teams pretty ordinary but the amazing part is there's about 6 All Australians in there:

Bowden, Richo, Brown, *smile*, Ottens and I think A Kellaway and Cogs came close in their B&F years.
It drops off pretty quickly after that though.

Actually Lizzy Birdsworth, there were just as many brightsiders if not more back then, who used to post ad nauseam how we were on the right track and how we should stick fat with Frawley. Some of the sensible siders were shot down when they questioned the methods of the day. A classic thread which will give you a feel of those days is "Frawley lovers I want a response". Find it in the search engine and have a good read of it.

FWIW we had a worse year in 2007 than we did in 2004. Make of that what you will.

lol at that thread, you were quality harry!
