They showed a clip of the event on tv. They showed some fat guy that looked very familiar sitting in the middle of the team. Looked like a big KFC fan this bloke.Hmmmmm.
Yet another DuD added to the list ;D

Wasnt West end, I give you the tip ;)

That's the last time I buy you a beer then! You'd probably be thankful if all I was buying was that rubbish though. Who would've thought that the worst thing about SA was it's beer?

You poor soul, drinking that garbage. Perhaps West End is the only S.A. beer you can get at a game of footy, but that has got to be one of the worst beers ever brewed in the history if brewing. If you enjoy an Ale or Stout then Coopers make some great drops. Otherwise Southwark was also good last time I tried it (admittedly a few years ago now). S.A. doesn't really do much in the way of lager though. Just please don't let your one bad experience be your only experience. Go on, give the poor buggers 1 more chance... You know you want to!

Legoland is in Billund - a good 100 kms from Aarhus. But you are correct when you imply a lack of really interesting tourist options in Denmark.

Despite the lack of designated tourist attractions, I found plenty of things to do in Denmark. I thought all my dreams had come true when so many shops seemed to be selling "*smile*s".

Edit: word censor got me there. Replace the smile with the Danish word for "Sale"

I think you must have misunderstood something. The Danish word for "sale" is "salg". Either you thought it was S - L - A - G or I can think of two other things that you might have seen. One is the word KUNST which believe it or not means "art" or "craft", or perhaps you saw the word S - L - U - T which literally means "end" - it often gets used in a sale situation (end of summer, or end of holidays etc) - it is definitely what gets put up and the end of a movie where in English you would see THE END.

The Danish language is littered with glorious words which amuse English speakers. A Danish word for speed or motion is literally F - A - R - T, I kid you not. I am sure anyone who's been to Copenhagen has heard the story about what they had to do to the signs on the lifts in a hospital that Queen Elizabeth II once visited.

ah, ok, "end" is what I saw everywhere. I can speak german so fart und kunst is no problem.

Has that Viking up north woken up yet ?

Excellent idea by the club. Over the past 12 months the club is starting to make smart business decisions and smart moves before other clubs.

True that, but that isn't my fault. I just live here. Some of these Kiwis can make a nice beer. You should try to get hold of some product from the fine Mac's Brewery range.
