White, Foley, Johnson, Tambling, Edwards, Jackson, Graham etc etc
COMMON DENOMINATOR

THEY ALL BUTCHER THE *SMILE*in BALL

Harsh on Foley I reckon but the others, yes. Although Graham acknowledges this and looks to handball at every opportunity.

true, we can be finals contender but never a premiership contender with our overall poor skills

what specials have they this week...they say that mince is the best for these hard economic times....you do so many things with it...and its cheap.

BUTCHERS AND BUNGLERS OF THE AFL.
I read a book once called british butchers and bunglers of ww1. the ineptitude in that war has no comparison to the rfc.

Bit harsh I think the problem last night was the structure we had no flow Collingwood flooded back in some cases had no forwards so that's why we kept handballing we need to back ourselves more take on the man & run!! Our work rate after half way through the 3rd dropped off that's our problem not kicking!!

Who's our forward line coach?

Because the structure in the forward line was deplorable.....

Yes it contributed to the turnovers, but also we have a lot of players who cannot kick! Cannot kick!

It's really unbelievable, and makes you wonder what they have been doing over the summer.......

Lots of running around the tan but not much ball work by the looks of it.

Same old story every year...skill level is appalling....same players making the same mistakes year in year out.

It's not harsh Gadget, it's the truth. Floaters, kicks falling short and too long. Our kicking for goal was abysmal. Add to that poor decision making and we end up with a result like last night. One thing Richmond has refused to address is kicking.

Isn't our fwd line coach bumchum Royal??

When it comes to Butchers we have the finest in the land!!! Premium quality stuff!!

To think that we also didn't have turnover king Tuck in the side last night as well. It will only get better.

Dumb footballers with pathetic kicking skills = disaster!!

We are that far off the pack it isn't funny, and anyone thinking we are almost there just because we picked up B.Cousins you are kidding yourself. People thought Ben threw up last night due to his gut running. It was after watching 3/4 of our side continuously butcher the ball that did it.

Anyone heard the following saying ?

' PAPER TIGERS ' !!

It was mentioned in the 80's and still rings true today !

Richmond looks good on paper but play like shlt!

We have very few skillfull players. Just grunts who go in hard but cannot use the footy.

Agree. Which is why I couldn't understand the recruitment of Hislop and Thompson. One maybe, but both? We need better rounded players who have smarts and skills. Too many one dimensional footballers.

Beams for the pies was quite impressive. Had my fingers crossed that we were gonna draft him with a mid range pick last year. Doubt he was even on our radar. Strauss that went to Melbourne was another one I liked. Well rounded types that we need to be targeting with our mid picks, not giving them away for one dimensional players that couldn't make it elsewhere.
