I just hope that ALL Richmond supporters start becoming part of the solution.
I don't want to see us as being part of the problem yet again.

I know a result like that against Geelong is dissappointing.
To some, its like a stab to the heart.
But, we need to remember, we are a part of the team.
What we do also reflects on the club.

Calling for the heads of the coach, the players and the board does not help.
Throwing membership tickets and spitting at staff doesnt help.
It makes us look like the gooses, rather than the serious discussions and construction to make this a mighty football club once again.

We AS SUPPORTERS need to band together. We need to be a part of the solution.
This is a time for the club to move forward, and with our help, it will move forward in the right direction.

Please think of constructive ways of moving our club forward, rather than the destructive nature we have had in the past.

We whinge about West Coast and other interstate clubs having more money.
How can we help with this???
Make sure we sign up more members.
Support Richmond's investment in clubs and pubs.

We whinge about quality of players we seem to get.
Well if you look at recent press its because we don't have the money invested in recruitment etc.
In actual fact, Kangeroos are the only club below us.
Possible solution: Maybe those Richmond supporters in football areas (such as country football, involvment in interstate leagues etc) could help out or recruiters be providing stats and video of promising players which we may get in lower draft pics?

We need to think outside of the box to help out our club.

My fingers are crossed for a better future.

Call to Arms

Now more than ever our club needs us. Ask not what the club can do for you but what you can do for the club! Buy a membership, merchandise, turn up to games, recruit the next door neighbours kids. In the words of Kanga Kennedy - "Dont think -Do. Do something, anything". Lets make this time a watershed for football club supporters and try to rebuild some respect from the supporter base up.

Re: Call to Arms

Nothing to do with the topic but would like to mention it. 2 years ago at AusKick l noticed only 2 Richmond kids with jumpers. Majority Essendon 80%. This year there was at least 25%, not bad when you have about 150 kids.

Calling for the head of the coach is not going to help, that will set us back years again. I think we need to work with Terry and hope that success is in the future.
Sacking players is not the right thing half through a year, but when Terry took over this club he had a limited list, he had old players with no skill and he didn't want to chase other players from other clubs, I can see the future with the kids we have now it's just a matter of time until we get rid of the cancer players like Tivendale, Krakouer, Pettifer and I hate to say this ...RICHO.

As a very loyal and passionate Richmond Supporter I will go to every Richmond game I can possibly go to and If I ever have doubts, I think about the Coburg team and that's our future.

Go Tige's!!! :gotigers

I will become part of the solution if you like...at nearly 47 years of age I will don the jumper and run out and I would show more heart than half those blokes yesterday.

And we may have limited resources, but when selecting from blokes that are dished up on a plate by the AFL draft system...why did we go with Tambling..and not Franklin?

And as for Wallace's comment we are short of Mid-fielders...haven't we just been recruiting midfeilders for the past 3 years? I would have thought we needed some big blokes with big hearts...we are relying on one man, Simmo..in that department..and when he is injured...we have to reply on Richo.

Two drafts ago, both the All Australian U-18 Centre Half back and Full Backs were overlooked by our Club, when even at that stage we knew Kellaway and *smile* where on a limited time...but we picked midfielders...

Yep, ..despite all that, I agree...lets not lower ourselves and throw tickets, and abuse, or call for blood....

and I will still kick in financially when able...

but when are we going to analyse, and fix this horrible, horrible, siutation.

We'll have some good draft picks this year, but junior watchers say our scouts are outnumbered in Melbourne by even interstate clubs. Anyone care to watch some junior games instead of, or in addition to, the Tigers, and then report back to the club? Can the junior watchers nominate some games and players to watch?

Goog idea TBH. I was thinking the same thing last night. Even more pertinent considering I live in WA, and I reckon I would enjoy watching the future stars as they begin their careers.

wants to see the announcement of our sponsorship deal with Tiger Airlines

isn't sure on the value of expanding our recruiting network when we seem so apt to making wrong choices or project players

1 small action by 1 tiger faithful multiplied by '000s could add up to something huge, so lets get our thinking (and acting) caps on

I think Richmond supporters over the last 25 years have given more than the club deservers, what has the club given in return, 2 measley years in the finals and 23 years of dissapointment. How can one club have such a pathetic record, someone must have pointed the bone at us after the 1982 GF.

I am an ex-pat so I cant really do this myself, but I think it would be fantastic for as many supporters as possible to turn up to training this week. Also what about some kind of letter or petition of support for the club in general, especially the younger players. They are about to embark on a long tough journey my friends, and the light at the end of tunnel is just a faint flicker right now.

Yup that should reduce the losing margin to around 21 goals this week.

Wondering where all the 'players' are that were logged on to PRE last week??

We can't hear you fellas.
