Cam Howat's Unavailability for rest of Season

If Howat hadn't played enough Coburg games to qualify playing for them in the finals, why did he play on the weekend against Geelong, being a final?
More to this story, I think.
Because Richmond were still playing.

Geelong would have to delist him for us to draft him I reckon JD.
Don't think so, if Geelong don't elevate him other clubs are able to draft them assuming they nominate for the draft

davenport is inconsistent, impact player only

good pace and kicks a goal but similar to howat runs one way and goes missing

solid vfl player

Seems a fair bet they'll elevate him though doesn't it?
With the strong list they have it will be pretty tough for them to find 3 delistings anyway, they'll need to find a 4th to do any rookie elevations so he may be *smile* outta luck

Good point. Looking at their list the guys that get delisted may not find it hard getting a go somewhere else. The only player over 25 who is probably expendable is King.

I could think of 4 Geelong could delist easily.

Byrnes, Callan, Gardiner, Owen, Playfair, Spencer, Gamble

3/4 of those would be starting 18 at Richmond...how depressing

lol, which 3 or 4? no chance

Byrnes, Gardiner, Playfair would be certainties. Callan and Spencer would be fringe players.
