I have to say that i am concerned with the apparent push to make Wayne Campbell coach. Dont get me wrong, i have no doubt he loves Richmond and was a good servant for many years, but IMHO, he does not bring the two key things to the club that we need.
1. Strength and aggression, to rebuild our reputation as a hard tackling, hard running team
2. Skills and decision making. Without having been to Richmond training for a long time, i suspect that our ability to execute skills on match day is more about our inability to deal with pressure, implied or real.
On either of these points, Wayne Campbell was hardly a leader. Now i may be wrong and perhaps his coaching ability cant be judged by his playing ability - but i have my concerns.
