They spoke about this topic on footy classified last night and asked Nathan Brown what he thought Deledio's best position is and he replied "Same as my role rotating from full forward into the centre".

He mentioned that he is more an impact player and doesn't need to get 30 possesion a game, he can do just as much damage getting 15 possesions and a couple goals. So I think we should get used to Lids playing from the goal square next year. Get on him for the Coleman!!!!

Having watched the replay of the Weagles game last night, I was really disappointed in Deledio. I've been a massive fan since he started but I saw a a side of him I didn't like. He looked seriously soft and timid on a couple of occasions. In the last 30 secs of the 2nd quarter, there was a 50/50 ball and rather than putting his body on the line and attack the ball, he hung back and allowed Braun (I think it was him) to hit it hard and make the play. An instance in the 3rd quarter on the outer wing when he was required to chase and harrass just didn't happen. It was like he couldn't be bothered. (I know that's not the case, but it's how it appeared to me.)

I reckon during the first half, Tambling saw how Kerr was going about getting the ball and decided to match his intensity in the 2nd half, with obvious results. Deledio needs to have a look at Kerr and lift his intensity when going at the ball as well.

And by the way, has anyone ever seen Joel Bowden get up off the bottom of a pack...?
