PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I listened to what Jade had to say on SEN and i listened to what Gary said on MMM today.

What concerns was there were a few points that had we worried which we have noted on threads, so what i have done is put 8 points i consider , in my eyes most important for us moving forward till seasons end.

There are 8 options and i would like us before the next round when Jade coaches against the Eagles is come up with what YOU consider the top 4.(in no order).

Here is mine in no particular order.

1. Play as many kids as possible to see which have the ability to take us forward. Winning games is no important to me . The season is lost. As long as we are competitive and show something to us long suffering supporters that there is hope , thats all that matters.

- Post
- Putt
- Browne
- Gourdis
- Vickery
- Gilligan

2. Game style. Stick to what he has developed lately at Coburg and not chop or change and not make bold statements. Just stick with a game style that suits our players and BACK them in to deliver it.

3. Play the fringe players who career is in the crossroads and who Terry hasnt given enough time to develop and make that postion their own. There are players that seem to be scapegoats.

Here is my list of these players- (in no order as well).

- Jay
- JON
- Hughes
- King
- Hislop
- Edwards
- Thompson( now that he has got his body right)
- Connors
- Polak(limited game time when the sting of the game is gone to get his confidence back and see if he has anything to offer before he is let go, unfortunately. Tremendous courage to come back though).

4. It was a toss up but i have gone for , passion for the RFC jumper and culture. What i would like is a person(s) appointed to oversee a program that when young players come to the club, players from other clubs to go through , like an induction type program to learn the history of this famous club and help fix this culture that exists and still exists at the club. "Its not about me, me , its about my club, team mates and the fans who deserve success".

As Cuz said after last weeks win "winning is everything its the only thing" . This should be our key motto moving forward and beyond.

Thanks all

Waiting.
