I read in MX yesterday that Carey is set to return to Noth in a development role. He's been instructed to mend relationships with Anthony Stevens and Glenn Archer first.

Just interested to know what others think about that move? I'm not overly fussed because it doesn't affect my club but if it was a Richmond player with a similar track record I don't think I'd be impressed.

The smug contempt Carey treated his friends with, his unbelievable arrogance, his selfishness and his mysoginistic behaviour sicken me. It will be interesting to see if the decision has any long term impact either way on the North membership base.

Don't let him make you sick, Rosy. Germs make you sick. This bloke is slightly lower in the hierarchy. ;)

In all seriousness - couldn't care less. Hopefully his disruptive influence will spread through the place and we'll be sick of that Shinboner spirit nonsense forever. Keep checking out West Sydney real estate 'roos!

Doesn't Carey live up at the Gold Coast these days?

Things must be getting pretty desperate at the Roos.
Maybe he's going to try & convince them to relocate up there.

I think there are 2 factors here that may have changed the environment.

1. The retirement of Anthony Stevens.

2. The ending of the Stevens marriage.

Although Carey received enormous flack from the Carey/Stevens affair and also from the antics that went on thereafter, I have very good reason to know that Mrs Stevens may have caused much of the initial situation.

Now that Mrs Stevens is out of the picture the "Old North" can settle.

l takes 2 to tango, most would know that Stevens & Carey were both to blame.

Not absolving Kelli Stevens from anything, but from the look of her, I reckon she could hardly of forced herself upon the King. Maybe Carey should be filing a sexual abuse claim against her eh Phanto?

Just like COusins we all deserve another chance...and for what this guy did for this club over his playing career, i think he is one who can be given that chance back at the roos. The King lives on...!!

Kanga players better lock their wives away

And their daughters...

Once a disgusting pig always a disgusting pig.

People seem fixated on the Stevens affair. Lets also not forget the multiple assaults on police on two continents, glassing his girlfriend, his sexaul assault outside the King street night club, and his connections with the underworld. Plus the arrogant rudeness he has spoken about those that have had issues with his behaviour. He makes Cousins look like a saint in comparison.

Better them than us, hopefully he can help fast track their relocation interstate.

North stuffed up by letting carey go. They should have got rid of Stevens who came out and forgave his wife and not carey. What a moron.
