It's funny how people think because Carlton have Judd that they are going to be a force in the future. He is just but one person in a 22 man team. Sure its better to have him than not but these assumptions that succes is a mere formality now is a but presumptuous in my opinion.
Getting Judd is one piece of the picture Goody. I feel that the CFC administration are a more professional outfit than RFCs. They are more ruthless and really don't give a damn about playing nice. They'll do what it takes to get CFC back to the top. I wish RFC had that same sort of determintaion.

Yes! Carlscum are ruthless, yet they will pay a bigger price in the long term IMO. To think one player can take up 1/6th of total player payments for his own selfish needs. Especially if he thinks he alone can make the scum grand final contenders. With the likes of Gibbs, Murphy & others will also be chasing bigger dollars in the near future as well. Their is going to be major pressure on the salary cap for these tankers, lets see how they can manipulate it this time.

OMG!!! How many hypocrites are there on PRE? Now there are people praising Carltank for being 'ruthless' for tanking and bending the rules for their own advantage to strengthen their list.
When myself and a few others mentioned a couple of months ago that we could do the same thing this coming season by winning less than five games we were roundly criticised. The funny thing is that if we had another really bad season and had a priority pick the jewels of the 2008 draft are much much brighter. I'll tell you now, if we had picks 1&2 or even 2&4 next year we would be in a seriously great position to move forward.
