I'm interest to know on what peoples views on who we are going to play on the likes of Fevola, Waite etc.

Who is going to play fullback of the Fev?
Kellaway surely not, One of the Bowdens maybe?

What do u reckon?

cheers.

Fevola needs a fast running player as an opponent as he is a coward who leads to the flanks. No need to worry about isolating a later player one on one as he can't catch and doesn't like contact.

Fev will carve Bowden, which ever does not line up in the goal square. We need Bowden around CHB and the Blues no this so they might try and put both of the m in the square. Then Kellaway takes Waite, Joel back out across CHB. Sarge and Thirsty would be handy options at this point as well.

Sounds simple but we've just gotta win the ball in the centre and cut off the supply. I think big Knob will get the call up.

Simmonds will spend a fair bit of time in the back half filling the hole. He's done this well over the last few weeks.

Waite is no certainty to play either.

Joel plays best when he's running back to help out a fellow defender, and then running off half-back.

Therefore, I think Ray Hall will get first crack on Fevola...with Andrew Kellaway on Waite.

One they need to watch is Deluca if he starts drifting down...so Simmonds has to be on his game.
Maybe P.Bowden might be called upon to help out down back instead of in the forward line.
Thats why its a mystery why Jacko, who has got under the guard of the opposition defence a couple of games now, was dropped.....poor selection (or non-selection), in my opinion! >:(

But like was mentioned, if we can pressure their midfield, gang-tackle, and show some passion, then King Kong could be in their forward-line and it won't matter one iota.

Really looking forward to a similar scoreline to the game at the 'G last season, against the same mob...would be looooovely! ;D

Tigers to win by 35 points! 8)

I think Wallace has worked out a system with Bowden and Kellaway after last week - Kellaway takes the worst forward pocket then blocks the lead as much as possible when the ball's deep as he did so well for Gaspar for many years. They did it to pretty good effect last week and I think we'll most likely continue in that vein while we're undersized down back. Chubba isn't the world's greatest rebounder so this is an ideal role for him to shine once again doing what he does best - throwing himself into contests where angels fear to tread - and frees Bowden up somewhat.

Hall is likely to get Waite if he plays, I'd love to see him running off Fattnall but chances are it won't happen. Be interesting to see who mans up Fischer...

I actually think that last week showed there is no place down back for both Gaspar and Kellaway. Hall can take the main forward, Kellaway and Bowden can take the second between them and switch to being third man up, which is the role each plays best.

Raines has been taking a turn on the third tall at various times, although De Luca will be a difficult match up for him. Not sure that the selected teams will line up. If Waite drops out, we will probably stay the same but if he plays, we will bring in another taller player, probably at Krakouer's expense.

I cant see Joel playing very deep on Fev, would prefer Hall on Fevola and Bowden on Waite and Kellaway on Fisher.
