Very first thing Balme said when he got to Richmond. About Deledio. If they want to go you can't keep them. You don't want a bloke running around who doesn't want to be there. Let them go and get what you can for them.
He signed a six year contract extension back in 2022, with over a season to run on his existing contract which ties him to the Blue Baggers until the end of 2029.
Maybe he should have thought about that before putting pen to paper.
There has been speculation Sydney are interested but they wont give anything up of value, e.g. Gulden or Heeney.
Gold Coast also has been mentioned but again I cant seem them offering anything of value e.g. Anderson or Rowell.
Have to say, at least our 4 exits last season were done in a professional and respectful way, whereas these Cartoon players look more like they desperately want to get away as quick as possible.
