With Oakley's broken arm making him eligible for the long term injury list I would say the time is right to get Cartledge in the Tigers team.

He has been dominating according to rawlings in the 'eye of the tiger' and it's been said the team struggle when Simmonds takes a break. I think it's worth a shot.

I note Howat has been lifted straight into the Coburg seniors after a week with the Coburg reserves after coming back from injury. maybe TW wants him straight back in. Interestingly, Collard kicked 6 and won a swag of possies and was praised by Rawlings. He is now in the Coburg senior squad too. Sylvester also won BOG last week.

However I think we need Cartledge more.

DDT since when has a broken arm taken eight weeks or more to heal?

JON will only be out for a week or two.

If a player is put on the long-term injury list he MUST miss eight weeks or more. Hence Cogs has not been put on it as he may be back playing for Coburg in six weeks.

Is this the same Cartledge that couldn't get a game at Essendon? How good can he be?

Hopefully better than Sheedy thought.

Noticing him at Coburg, he looks more mobile and experienced in ruckwork compared to Patto.
