Casualties of our increasing depth.

There isnt any yet.

How can a team that finished 16th have "depth"
We dont thats why we finished last.
Yes, but the depth is coming. The list is certainly a whole lot better than even three years ago. Long way to go still, but at least there seems to be some distant light at the end of this very long tunnel.

Hopefully will be better again with Cameron's appointment, greater involvement of Francis Jackson and no more idiotic trades by Miller.

When has he ever shown that he can play in the midfield?
And who's spot is he going to take?

Well actually Chris played midfield throughout his junior days and won about 6 flags in that time! He is obviously thought of highly by the players and came back from a shocking broken leg to finish up the top of our best and fairest so why on earth are people doubting him.
Also saying Tuck will play only ten games is a joke.

The list is better for only three reasons.
1) It notionally has more potential, none of it realised yet of course
2) A young list has had one more preseason
3) Significant injuries last year to Simmons, Brown, Hyde and to a smaller extent Coughlan look like being shaken off.

Checkers we finished 16th because we were getting games into the younger players.
We had to play them after we made the hard but necessary decisions to cut some old favourites and some space fillers

You might be wrong here, about Raines.

Don't sell the farm for Morton just yet.

I'll second that.

'08-'09 should see the emergence of what Wallace has been trying to build. There will be jobs for Raines, Tuck, maybe Edwards - good pace but needs to find his niche.
