Last year when we were winning games and looking good - Cogs and Tucky were our strength in the centre. Then Cogs got injured and Tucky was left to shoulder the heavy responsibility of the centre bounce hard ball gets.
By three quarter time in every game you could see Tucky was tiring - with Cogs now out for the 2007 season who is going to help Tucky in the guts with the hard ball gets?
Foley? Can he rise to the next level?
Raines? Is it a year too early for him to move into the centre?
Brown? Isn't he needed to set the forward line alight?
Johnson? Isn't his role that of being a negator/tagger?
My fear is we are light on in the centre yet again - this could be our undoing for a finals berth in 2007.
Any other ideas?
