Change of Positions

Do you think it would be possible to play some players a little out of position to see how they go.

Newman as a forward.
Cotchin at HB
Lids at HB (I know he's played there before)
McGuane at FF
Polo as a RR not as a tagger (let him play freely)

Why not change the team structure up a little ??????

While we're at it lets play Foley in the Ruck as well.

No way should be stick McGuane at FF. He hasn't been too bad down back, and his marking and kicking are simply not good enough for a KPF.

Some experimenting is ok, but generally we're better to play players in the positions that we need them for long term.

Cotchin and Delidio have to become gun mid-fielders - so that's where they have to play most of the time.

McGuane is a CHB and that's where he stays.

Agree with Polo - should be given a go as Ruck Rover. Newman could probably go up to a wing.

Half Back Flank is probably th easiest position in modern football - no point in wasting Cotchin or Delidio back there.
