PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Yes I can all hear you, tigerjoe you are a fool.
Sheedy is past it, yesterday's hero.
We need a young coach with new ideas.
We don't need to win games, we need to play youth and get draft picks.........blah, blah, blah.......................

Last night showed me yet again why he needs to stand in for the rest of the year.

The bombers of last night was 85% put together by Sheedy.

Knights is reaping the benefits with his attacking game plan.

We need a culture change and we need it changed yesteryear.

He is the man to change the psyche, to weed out the week, to nurture the youth and to start the change.

He says he has too much on his plate, but I reckon if asked he would do it. Just for the remainder of the year.

Currently no one in their right mind will take us on as caretaker, they would be in a no win situation. The club wants picks not wins.

The players clearly do not play for Wallace or the jumper for that matter, let Sheedy get into their heads and teach them a thing or 5 thousand.

The club can go about tanking and getting who they want while Sheedy can have some time unteaching our boys "basketball crap".

We have been in winning positions so many times this year it is just not funny.

We have shown that we can play decent football (albeit halves of footy)

We have matched it with the cats when we got on a roll, had the dogs nervous, should never have lost to melbourne, and should have beaten the lions, swans, port and last night's game.

Yes we are soft, yes we are mentally insipid, yes our game plan stinks, yes guys like Pettifer, Schulz, Simmonds, Bowden, etc shouldn't play for us again, BUT, the younger players are capable and can play great footy.

Despite the negativity we have a future with our kids, a decent coach and a good shrink.

It has nothing to do with romance or the old Sheedy back as coach that the media so desperately want, it is to start the change process that is so deperately needed right now.

Wallace should not stay for the rest of the year, he will do more damage than good, the players don't want him and the club does not need him to stay.

He left the dogs high and dry, he is doing the same to us.
