Changes against PORT?

Out: Rance, JON, Edwards
In: Pattison, Pettifer, Cotchin

We'll just have to wait and see what magic the Match Committee pull out of their hat tonight won't we.

My 2 cents based on Moore playing injured last week:

Out:
Rance(inj), Moore(inj), Riewoldt, Edwards, Shulz

In:
Raines, Thursfield, Pettifer, Cotchin, Morton

"YOUNG gun Trent Cotchin leads a list of six inclusions for Richmond this weekend as the Tigers prepare to face Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

Cotchin has been in good form in the VFL and is set to make his first appearance for the senior team this year after an achilles injury in pre-season.

Joining him in the squad are Kayne Pettifer, selected for the first time after recovering from a knee reconstruction last year, Andrew Raines, after he injured his knee in round one, Mitch Morton, Will Thursfield and Nathan Brown.

Out go Alex Rance after his horrific weekend head-clash with Lion Troy Selwood that left him with a fractured cheekbone, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls and Jay Schulz."

Bit disappointed with the ins.

Brown, Pettifer, Cotchin, Raines, Morton and Thursfield.

So I'm guessing outs: Edwards, JON, Schulz, Rance and maybe Moore.

Thursty was not confident last night he was playing this week, so either he's good at throwing smokescreens, or Wallet is.

I would play any possible tall defender ahead of Wil for the simple reason he has to get the message the club has been trying to give him for the best part of 2 years now! Either he wants to play AFL or he doesn't!

What message would that be seeing Will has been in the team nearly every week as the number 1 defender. I dont recall Will being in and out of the side every second week over past 2 years.

Same could be said of Schulz over the past 7 years.

Difference is Thursfield is a proven performer at AFL level Schulz has only proven he is not.
