Changes for the Cats match at the Cattery

Just watching the replay of last nights league teams on fox.

Liam Pickering is an absolute tool. Upset about the Tigers training on the Cats ground.

He was arrogant, smug, typical bulls&t artist manager - complete flog.

The Guy has never respected Richmond and I certainly don't respect him.
Geez I hope we upset the pussies.

On the plus side - Dermie said he is a Richmond member.

I recall in 1988 under KB we played the reigning premier Carlton in a pre season night match and knocked them over comfortably.
Then, in the real stuff, we knocked them off, causing the biggest boilover of the season. It was our first win over them since 1983, breaking a long run of outs which included some almighty thumpings.

Just throwing it out there...
;)

I think this should be in Goldposts....its the closest thing to positive that the Punxta has posted in some time ;)

As the runner

Very good! You can't win Edwards or white? white or Edwards?
If the AFL change the numbers on the ground from 18 down to 14, we might have a better. Vance of making the finals.
Our bottom 5-6 are from the 1989-1990 era..

I can just imagine Maric being the sub again and White starting.

Seriously hope not...but nothing surprises anymore.

Pickering gets very precious about his former team.
I can't stand Brereton and don't know why anyone listens to him when he makes so many poor comments, but he has said in the past that he doesn't know why, but he likes Richmond. Probably because he knew when he lined up against the Tigers as a Hawk he was going to have a day out.

I seem to recall reading once that a lot of ex-champions take out memberships with other clubs as a way of giving back to the game.

I think if I recall correctly that Garry Lyon is actually a member of every AFL club.

I went to training today. It was brief and not much more than kick to kick but what was noticeable was that many of them were practicing kicking torps. Webbs was consistently good and there were quite a few nice ones and some not so nice from others.

I wonder if they'll be using the torp more to get it deeper out of defence and to partly counter our deficiencies in the air.

Grimes was taking shots at goal, though probably more for recreational purposes.

I just find Dermie is a likeable guy. Sure he was a thug at times but he never complained when he was getting king hit.

I'm pretty sure most of the AFL media people are members of all clubs.

Yeah, I think Dermie's ok. Super tough player, would have loved him playing for us.

Brereton was a total warrior. I like his eccentricities in the media.

Brereton is very astute as a commentator, one of my personal favourites.
