Changes for the Cats match at the Cattery

Here's a sobering stat, Geelong have won 33 out of the last 40 games they've played against the Tigers including 14 of the last 15.
But at Geelong
2005 loss 1 point 68/69
2006 won 20 points 110/90
2009 loss 20 points 85/105

Unfortunately less successful in
2007 loss 70 points 69/139
2010 loss 108 points 53/161

Not so bad for a three times premier vs. a bottom rabble

that should give Geelong a false sense of security.
suckers

Out: Ty
In: Posty or Xman

Not overly confident of a win but think we will really push them. If we can come out and hit them as hard as the Kanga's did I give us a great chance. They did look old and tired.

or maybe a true sense of security. How about this be the first of the next 14 out of 15 we win against Geelong ;D

FFS, that is ridiculous.

I'm *smile* ing sick of losing to this team.

The tide has to turn sooner or later surely. :veryupset

I'd love to see us win this game for so many reasons. I think if we are in touch at half time we may have some prayer.
I want to see us continue to dispel Richmond myths and forge some history we can actually be proud of.
Good luck to the 200 members who can actually attend, you'll need to shout extra loud.

The one thing about Kardinia Park, which is important, is that it is quite narrow but very long.

Because of this, especially the narrowness, Geelong have always zig-zagged along the ground to great effect, making space and still remaining in a reasonable corridor regardless of how wide they go.

Long accurate kicks will be vital.

Rotations will be important as I don't like the idea of our best being placed in solely negating roles.

Grimes, if suspended will be a loss, but emphasizes why we need to develop spare tall defenders for the long term.

As said, our history at Kardinia Park over the last 40 years has been atrocious. Any competitive result will be a positive and will be important in the context of the whole season.

Good luck boys!

Long accurate kicks phantom?? The problem is, we don't have a history of high marking, just look at last week. The Cats are very good in the air.

I can't believe I'm saying this as I'm usually quite pessimistic about our chances of winning games of footy, but for some reason I give us a sneaky chance this week. Don't know why, think our mids needed that confidence boost vs the dees and might just start to click into gear maybe.

Oh well Here's hoping

Keep hoping there Franga. Cats coming off a thrashing, unfurling the premiership flag, and home ground plus crowd advantage. Might need more than hope methinks, but stranger things have happened.

In the H&A season, yes.

Boy is that a long time between drinks. They have enjoyed so much success since then as opposed to us :-[.
I would love nothing more than to knock them from their perch this weekend but it's hard to imagine it happening.

If North can beat them it's possible they're either declining or horribly out of form. Do you think we're a similar standard to North Harry?

Cats were caught napping after the tough game on the monday against the hawks, they'll bounce back at home.

nah, we're pretty even with north

Expect a very different Geelong performance compared to last Sunday. Want us to be competitive.
