Changes for the Esserdope Game Friday Nite

Newman dig bugger all again. Never seems to be dropped tho. Charmed existence. I dont even know what role he is suppossed to play.

Please, no Morris.

Yep and yep.

We really need Madonna in this week against the running Bummers, and he's shown enough in VFL to get back in the 1sts.

is there is any chance the collective 18 that start actually run with their opponents when they have the ball Friday night?? That first 15 min when we played them in the Dream Time game was about as low as our 2104 season got. I needed a wider angle lens (watching from home) just to see where the Tigers players where on the park. Irrespective of the outcome on Friday, we deserve to me mediocre if we dish out that rabble again. With the faint hope of finals, a home game, a Friday night audience, pre game hype - has all re recipes of a typical Richmond capitulation.... love to be proven wrong.

respectfully disagree on both counts evo. Newman been very wily and handy the last 2 weeks. I want him on the big stage.

Granted, Morris does cause some psychological discomfort at times, but he is vlastuin-tough. and we want to belt the crap out of this lying, cheating filth.

I don't care who stops him, but if Ben Howlett is allowed to kick 5 goals again on Friday night, dogs around Australia will suffer bleeding eardrums from my silent screaming.

Between these three
Shaun Grigg
1 goal, 36 disposals (25 contested), 19 clearances|
Shaun had a very good game. He was the most dominant player on the ground and is really pushing for senior selection this week.

Matt Arnot
24 disposals (14 contested), 8 tackles
Played his best game in the last two or three weeks. Played mainly on ball and had plenty of contested possessions, which is what we wanted him to focus on. He continues to get better but needs to string together two or three games like that to push for senior selection.

Matt Dea
20 disposals, 4 rebound 50s
Played a very solid game. Was in and out a little bit, given the momentum of the game, but found the ball. Really controlled the back line well most of the day. His ball use and decision making shows that he’s an AFL-standard player.

Grimes, Lloyd and Conca out.
3 of McBean, Matty McD, Grigg, Dea, in.

Can't see Grimes going out. Grigg for Conca, McD for Lloyd. Not that I have given up on Lloyd, he just needs games and another pre season. I would just like to see McD have a crack up forward now they have been playing him there at VFL level, with some success.

Doubt McDonough
Matt McDonough
3 goals, 17 disposals, 7 marks
Started up forward and played through the midfield in patches. Marked the ball well and had four shots on goal. I think he could’ve ended up kicking five or six goals. He continues to improve as a forward and hopefully he can push for senior selection in the next couple of weeks.

apparently needs to do more...

Will also not be Mcbean, unless we drop Griff...

Lloyd and Conca for Grigg and Arnot

Arnot sub and a full game for Commissioner Gordon

We lack run and carry and a small forward who can kick goals.

Who leads Richmond in running bounces per game?

Matt McDonough.

Who is a small forward who is in form and has the versatility to go back or forward?

Matt McDonough.

Who has played both back & forwards this year and provided no run or carry or kicked any goals?

Chris Newman.

Its a compelling case for madonna scoop. But your wily old veterans arent there for run and carry. They are their to take the intercept mark when its tight. To tell the young bloke where to kick it with 5 minutes to go. To plant themselves in the space and prevent stuff from ever happening. Newys been doing that stuff the last couple of weeks. and it doesnt stand out on stats sheets.

I want him out there on Friday night (madonna too). and im pretty sure Dimma will too.

Need the cheer squad to get creative with the banner this week.

Something like the first letters down the left or right side sending out a subliminal message to the EFC folk.

While I don't think he earns his spot Chris Newman has kicked goals this season. Two in the one match on at least one occasion.

I'd be inclined to keep it above the conscious threshold.

something like 'annihilated on Friday. annihilated on Monday. cheating, deluded, *smile*'

Good idea although they'd still be stupid enough not to see it, and I just read that ABC774 will broadcast the opening submissions on Monday.

What about using a fake minor sponsor and motto:

For help on 2014 tax returns, call Alan O'Dowd on 9604 6666

"Preparing every person's taxable income diligently every season"

I guess if we want maximum reaction, i.e. Blobbo having a sook about it for a week, it needs to be fairly obvious.
