Changes for the Esserdope Game Friday Nite

Reckon Zarharakis and Carlisle will not play or not play well
Add Watson and bellchambers to that and we've already got a better team on the park

I hope you are right, but what do you base that on? Watson out yes, Carlisle up for test but he should be OK, as far as I know Zarharakis & Bellchambers came through last weeks game OK having played 88% and 80% game time respectively.

I have a sly old $5 multi bet every week on the footy.......over the past 8 matches I have Essendumb a 9 point better side taking in past matches etc....but......the averages for this year only, I have the Tigers a 6 point better side......averaging out both the the 2...I still have Essendumb a 2 point better side.............................soooo in all that mumble jumble....Bombers by 1-9 points :(

Its a compelling case for madonna scoop. But your wily old veterans arent there for run and carry. They are their to take the intercept mark when its tight. To tell the young bloke where to kick it with 5 minutes to go. To plant themselves in the space and prevent stuff from ever happening. Newys been doing that stuff the last couple of weeks. and it doesnt stand out on stats sheets.

I want him out there on Friday night (madonna too). and im pretty sure Dimma will too.

Newman has been a great servant of the club no doubt. However, he does not deserve to be in the best 22 anymore and should retire.

Get McBean in there and surprise a side with selection for once.

Throw a spanner in the works.

How many opp coaches get a free kick before ball is bounced, knowing exactly how we'll set up?

Even if McGod is monstered and buffeted off the ball most of the night, he may just surprise with a couple of deft roving goals off Jack's contest.

With Griff also over 200cm I say lets get this party started Dimma!

does this imply that there is a standing bounce ?

yeah. Dean Cox had 1 against us.

I cant see any good reason for not commencing our Shock and Awe campaign Friday night.

I see this phrase has crept in a lot in footy speak so I'm not having a crack at Scoop but does this imply that there is a standing bounce ?
The umpire does one in the centre to start the quarters and to reset after a goal.

Against the Bummers I expect us to go back into our shell and go back to the ultra defensive chip it around 10 times before going forward style.
Hope Im proven wrong and we actually do take the game on

The Bombers haven't exactly been in scintillating form lately. The Bulldogs nearly ran em over a couple weeks back. With Jobe and Hibberd out, I reckon this is a pretty even money outing.

There needs to be a dedicated banner thread for this match.

Richmond Today
ASADA on Monday
Looking forward to 360

agree. if i midfield get on top then we should run away with it.
The only thing stopping us is our forward set up.
If it too congested, essendon will rebound off half back repeatedly

Well we usually lose the Dreamtime match and then win the return bout later in the season... however seeing as our season is on the line, I'm not so sure we will stand up. Would love to be wrong on this though!

That's a point, the last few return matches haven't stood for a whole lot.

Fletch the Letch is out and Carlisle might miss also.

Big chance for the Griff to shine!!

Is Fletcher really out? I thought that was Thompson playing silly buggers with the media.

RFC web site ..... Morris a chance to return ???
Apparently the hand injury was only a one week problem. I've been saying for mod of the week that Grigg will come in for Conca, and fair enough he performed well in the VFL last week and they'll probably drop Lloyd (subbed out 2 weeks in a row after hardly getting a touch and not impacting the scoreboard) and put Morris back in, because surely that week off getting his hand fixed up has also mended his shoulder.

Yep. Bumhead Thomson thinks he can suck up the media. Wait for the Bummer Bubble to really burst soon enough and then we'll see the true Bumhead Thomson speak:
"For some silly reason, you people want to assassinate me. It's just rubbish. You people, all of you, ALL OF YOU, leave me alone!" ;D
